Updated review: When my sister passed another piece of family history came to me, My Grandmother's Vanity. As a little girl, I remember her brush and mirror always in the exact same place and of the little shoe that held her hair pins... I just couldnt figure out what was different about it until one night while lying in bed, I looked over at the vanity and discovered wood tracks on both sides.Tracks that once held a small mirrored shelf. I bet you can see where this is going... I made up a template and took it in to Kate (always "Katie" to me).😉 I explained what I needed and she took care of everything and before I knew it, I had gotten a call that my glass was ready and now my Grandma's Vanity is complete. 🥰 Good businesses are built by hard working, honest and caring individuals who can handle the big jobs but make the "small" ones seem just as important. Once again, I can thank City Glass & Upholstery for helping me to put what I can, right. *************** After my sister passed, I received her curio cabinet along with her collection of crystal pieces she had collected over the years. Because of age,the glass retainer clips had become brittle and unfortunately.there was an accident unloading and the top arched panel of glass on the door was broken. Needless to say, so was my heart . I called another glass company that I had a professional relationship with but due to new ownership, the personal touch had been lost. It was then I called City Gass and from the moment Katie answered the phone, I was immediately put at ease. Her professional, kind and helpful demeanor was beyond measure. I dropped the glass off and was initially told it would be a couple days ,then to my astonishment.I received a call from Katie that very same day letting me know my glass was done. I asked her how in the world. could it be done so soon? She responded that she took it back to the guys and pushed it through for me .❤️ Great customer service, quality work at a reasonable price and people that really care.
